This bulletin applies to 2020-2021 Chevy Corvette and 2021 Suburban vehicles. You may experience an SES MIL at startup or a dead battery. When checking for DTCs, the following may be set:

- P0700 and/or P2535 in the ECM

- P2535 in the TCM

- P2535 in the BSCM

- U300D in the IPC.

These concerns may be more likely to occur after using the vehicle’s remote start. The cause of the concern could be the BCM ignition 1 relay (KR73) driver remaining energized after the ignition is turned off. This will apply power to circuit 5199 for the KR73 ignition main relay, keeping it energized even though the ignition is off.

Follow normal diagnostic procedures for DTC P2535. If it is found that the BCM is keeping power on circuit 5199 after the ignition is turned off, replace the BCM.
