During normal operation, the window is automatically lowered slightly to avoid contact between the window glass and the side roof panel. When the door is closed, the window glass should automatically raise slightly.

If the window glass is not operated as described, replace the BCM (body control module). For 2009 models equipped with electronic steering column lock (ESCL) the BCM part number is 284B1-6GF0A. For 2010-2018 models without ESCL, the BCM part number is 284B1-6GE0A.
