This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Buick Cascada vehicles. Some customers may comment that when parking and turning off the vehicle, the radio continues to play after the driver door is opened. Technicians may find DTCs U1530 or U1534.
The cause of the condition may be a poor window motor control circuit board that may have a defect which does not allow communication to the BCM for window indexing. For proper operation, the BCM needs to see the indexing signal to know that the door is open and cancel radio operation.
Follow service manual diagnostics to verify the condition of no window indexing communication to the BCM. For vehicles with this condition, replace the driver door power window regulator/motor assembly. The part number for the replacement regulator/motor assembly is 13366935.
