Some 2016-2018 Lexus GS350, IS300, IS350, RC300 and RC350 vehicles equipped with AWD and a 2GRFKS engine may exhibit a rattle/knocking noise condition at idle from the driver floorboard area due to fuel line contact with the body.

Inspect the fuel line for a 0.2-inch (5mm) clearance with the body. Removal of the catalyst heat shield will improve visibility for fuel line clearance measurement.

Slide the fuel line towards the front of the vehicle until the clearance at the contact area is greater than 0.2 inch. Ensure that the clip does not rotate. Confirm that the noise is no longer present.
