This bulletin applies to 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza 5-door, 2008-2014 Impreza/WRX, 2015-2019 WRX, 2017-2018 Forester and 2013-2019 BRZ vehicles equipped with LED type rear combination lamps. The customer may complain about a rasping sound when applying the brakes. A new stop lamp switch is now available to address this concern. Additional grease and a change to the plating process used on some of the internal components were changes made to address the rasping type sound.
