If no weep hole is already present, drill a 1/8-inch hole into the lower rear corner as shown. Do not drill deeper than one inch.

This condition can be caused by condensation freezing in the muffler assembly as a result of no weep hole in the muffler. Examine the muffler. If there is no weep hole at the end of the muffler, use a 1/8-inch drill bit to drill a weep hole no deeper than one-inch into the muffler assembly at the bottom lower corner.
