Confirm Nissan Battery Voltage

This bulletin applies to 2015-2020 Nissan 370Z vehicles. If the MIL is on and DTC P0603 (ECM back up circuit) is set, confirm that battery voltage is 11 volts or more with ignition on/engine off.

This bulletin applies to 2015-2020 Nissan 370Z vehicles. If the MIL is on and DTC P0603 (ECM back up circuit) is set, confirm that battery voltage is 11 volts or more with ignition on/engine off. Make sure that battery cables are clean and tight. Resolve any battery issues before proceeding. Connect C-111 plus VI and open C-111 on the Consult PC. Turn ignition ON/engine OFF and erase DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition back on and wait for at least one second. Turn ignition off and wait for at least 10 seconds. Repeat this on/off procedure 10 times.

Turn the ignition on. If DTC P0603 is currently stored as a first trip DTC, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. If the DTC is not currently store as a first trip DTC, the service procedure is complete.
