This bulletin applies to 2016-2017 Chevy Camaro vehicles equipped with an LT1 engine. The customer may experience a no-start, reduced power, start-then-stall without a restart, and the MIL on.
The condition may be caused by the engine wiring harness contacting the drive belt. If the wiring has been chafed/damaged by the belt, the wiring harness must be repaired and then positioned away from the belt. Once repaired, tape the wiring harness using woven polyester electrical tape (PET). Using a zip-tie strap, secure the harness away from the belt.
