The technician may find the F1RD-350 amp mega fuse in the rear fuse block X50D has opened. The condition may be caused by circuit 1 shorted to ground at the starter heat shield.
The fix: replace the start solenoid cable. If the vehicle is equipped with the LT1 engine, use P/N 84601785. If using the LT4 engine, use P/N 84601786.
