Some owners of 2016-2019 Chevy Camaro vehicles equipped with a 6.2L LT1 or LT4 engine may comment that the vehicle lost electrical power and/or will not start.

The technician may find the F1RD-350 amp mega fuse in the rear fuse block X50D has opened. The condition may be caused by circuit 1 shorted to ground at the starter heat shield.

The fix: replace the start solenoid cable. If the vehicle is equipped with the LT1 engine, use P/N 84601785. If using the LT4 engine, use P/N 84601786.
