This bulletin applies to 2013-2016 Chevy Impala Limited vehicles as well as an array of other GM vehicles. It has been found that some aftermarket fuel pump control modules may contain an internal terminating resistor for the high-speed data bus.

This can interfere with proper operation of the high-speed data bus on systems where the OE design fuel pump control module does not contain an internal terminating resistor. Measuring resistance in the high-speed data system should be able to identify this concern.
