Ram Issue with Exhaust System

This bulletin applies to 2016 RAM 2500, 3500 and 4500/5500 trucks, regarding inspecting the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve serial number and EGR replacement. 

This bulletin applies to 2016 RAM 2500, 3500 and 4500/5500 trucks, regarding inspecting the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve serial number and EGR replacement. This applies to vehicles built on or before June 10, 2016, equipped with a 6.4L heavy-duty V8 Hemi engine.

Identify and inspect the EGR valve and locate the serial number. The EGR serial number replacement list is located on the TechConnect home page. If the VIN is listed, perform the repair by replacing the EG valve kit P/N 04627465AF and EGR tube gasket P/N 04627612AA.
