Software Update Required for Acura Heater
This bulletin applies to 2014-2015 Acura MDX vehicles. The MIL may be on, with DTC P0134 (rear A/F sensor bank 1, sensor 1; heater system malfunction) and/or P0154 (front A/F sensor bank 2, sensor 1; heater system malfunction). The PCM misinterprets the heater system input from the A/F sensor and sets DTC P0134 and/or P0154.
Update the PGM-FI software. The MVCI control module update: application version 3.01.40 or later. HDS software version 3.015.033 or later. Before beginning the repair, make sure that both HDS and the MVCI are updated.
