Hyundai Purge Valve Needs Software Update
This bulletin applies to 2012-2017 Hyundai Veloster and Accent vehicles equipped with a 1.6L GDI engine. An ECU update may be needed for DTC P0441 (canister purge valve – incorrect CPV flow).
You must initially perform GDS ECU update in Auto mode. Note: If the ECU update starts but then fails in Auto mode, perform the update in Manual mode to recover.
Perform the GDS software update. Check for DTCs in all menus and erase. Erase the DTC in the Bluelink system and confirm normal vehicle operation.
