This bulletin applies to 2010-2021 RAM 1500 gasoline-fueled trucks where customers experience concerns including hard to fill fuel tank, premature shut off of the gas nozzle when refueling, flow back of fuel while refueling, and DTCs set including P0441 (EVAP purge system performance) and P062A (fuel pump control performance).
An EVAP dual vapor canister filter kit (Mopar 68478013AA) is available in place of the OEM single vapor canister filter. This is needed for vehicles in fleet use or severe/extreme duty applications.
Dusty driving conditions can plug the single OEM filter system.
