Some 2015-2019 Ford Edge vehicles equipped with all wheel drive may exhibit a fuel slosh noise primarily when the fuel tank is over three-quarters full and when driving at low speeds. This may be due to the fuel moving around in the tank.

Some 2015-2019 Ford Edge vehicles equipped with all wheel drive may exhibit a fuel slosh noise primarily when the fuel tank is over three-quarters full and when driving at low speeds. This may be due to the fuel moving around in the tank.

Ford recommends replacing the fuel tank straps for this concern.

Support the fuel tank using a powertrain lift. Remove and discard the fuel tank straps and fasteners. Install new fuel tank straps P/N H2GZ-9054-A and four fasteners W718813-S442.

Torque the new bolts to 18 ft-lb (+/- 2.8 ft-lb).
