With the MIL on, the technician may find DTC P0108 (manifold absolute pressure sensor circuit high) has been set active or stored. Apparently, updating the software will correct the concern.

Using a scan tool (wiTECH) with diagnostic procedures available in TechCONNECT, first verify that all engine systems are functioning properly. If DTCs other than P0108 are present, record and address as needed before updating.

Perform a reflash in the normal manner (connect a battery charger to prevent battery voltage from dropping below 13.2 volts or climbing above 13.5 volts, and reprogram the PCM with the latest software, then clear any DTCs that may have set as a result of reprogramming.) Type the necessary information on an authorized modifications label and attach it near the VECI label.
