Escape GTDI Reprogram

Some 2017-2018 Ford Escape vehicles equipped with a 2.9L gasoline turbocharged direct injection (GTDI) engine and built on or before Sept. 18, 2017, may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P04DB (crankcase ventilation system disconnected) in the PCM memory.

Some 2017-2018 Ford Escape vehicles equipped with a 2.9L gasoline turbocharged direct injection (GTDI) engine and built on or before Sept. 18, 2017, may exhibit a MIL on with DTC P04DB (crankcase ventilation system disconnected) in the PCM memory.

Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 107.01 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates.
