Nissan Is Turning Over a New LEAF

This bulletin applies to 2017 Nissan LEAF vehicles that stop charging before being completely charged and DTCs B2840 (power delivery module), P3170 (on-board charger) and P3171 (on-board charger) are stored.

The lower radiator hose may be twisted or folded in such a way that prevents 100% coolant flow. The lower radiator hose’s white alignment mark should be at the 12 o’clock/straight up position.

Re-align the lower radiator hose so that the alignment mark is at 12 o’clock, making sure that the fold/twist is removed, and clear the DTCs.
