This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge Charger models equipped with UConnect, Voice Command with Bluetooth, wherein a loss of communications with HFM (hands free module) occurs, with the customer noting no response from the voice recognition button on the steering wheel, or not being able to enter into the phone screen on the radio.

This bulletin applies to 2012 Dodge Charger models equipped with UConnect, Voice Command with Bluetooth, wherein a loss of communications with HFM (hands free module) occurs, with the customer noting no response from the voice recognition button on the steering wheel, or not being able to enter into the phone screen on the radio.

Follow the procedure in TechCONNECT for proper removal and installation of the HFM. Go to Service info in TechCONNECT, then go to 08-Electrical/8E-Electronic Control Modules/MODULE, Hands Free/Removal and Installation.

Labor time is estimated at 0.3 hours.
