Dodge Dart MIL Fix

This bulletin applies to 2013 Dodge Dart vehicles equipped with a 2.0L engine and built before Dec. 21, 2012. A MIL may be on, with any of the following DTCs set: P000B (exhaust slow response Bank 1); P050B (cold start ignition timing performance); P2173 (high airflow/vacuum leak detected, slow accumulation).

The fix involves reprogramming with software release 13.02 or higher. The update addresses engine rough idle after an overnight cold soak, improved shift feel and quality, improved extended idle EVAP purge strategy and reduced visible steam from underhood when idling in cool/damp conditions.
