Nissan advises to never use an impact or other power tool to remove the engine oil pump sprocket bolt on 2007-2010 Versa MR18DE engines.

Nissan advises to never use an impact or other power tool to remove the engine oil pump sprocket bolt on 2007-2010 Versa MR18DE engines.

If an impact or other power tool is used to remove the engine oil pump sprocket bolt, the crankshaft sprocket may break.

Always use hand tools with a back-up wrench as described in Section EM, Timing Chain Removal and Installation in the electronic service manual.
