Ford Info Goes Blank

Some 2013 Ford Edge and MKX, and 2014 Explorer vehicles with the single information display in the center of the IPC (information panel cluster) and built 6-14-2013 through 6-28-2013, and vehicles with the dual information displays in the IPC and built 6-14-2013 through 8-23-2013, may exhibit a condition where the instrument cluster information display goes blank intermittently.

Some 2013 Ford Edge and MKX, and 2014 Explorer vehicles with the single information display in the center of the IPC (information panel cluster) and built 6-14-2013 through 6-28-2013, and vehicles with the dual information displays in the IPC and built 6-14-2013 through 8-23-2013, may exhibit a condition where the instrument cluster information display goes blank intermittently.

Reprogram the IPC to the latest calibration using IDS release 87.02 or higher.
