GEDORE has released its new thread reset tool PN 343564, allowing technicians to repair wheel studs safely and in 30 seconds, according to GEDORE officials. 

The tool can be used universally on wheel bolts with M12xD1.5 and M14x1.5 without weakening the thread.

The thread is "chipless" by rolling (forming, pressing, embossing) the deformed thread back to its original geometry. 

Some features of the tool include no removed material, wheel bolt strength is retained; thread is compacted again; compact tool design; drive with standard hex socket with reversible hatchet; and the thread size covers abut 80% of approved vehicles with wheel bolts.
