    This bulletin serves as a reminder on how to service the clutch release lever/mechanism when addressing customer concerns of a squeak-type noise when depressing the clutch pedal. 

    This bulletin serves as a reminder on how to service the clutch release lever/mechanism when addressing customer concerns of a squeak-type noise when depressing the clutch pedal. 

    Inspect for any abnormal or excessive wear of the release fork/lever, pivot points, operating cylinder rod and/or the pivot ball. Replace any worn components as needed. 

    Always use the recommended grease, Conoco-Phillips Multiplex Red #2 grease or Nichimoly Grease N-130. The Subaru P/N is 000041000.
