Baldwin Filters opens onsite wellness center
Baldwin Filters and Marathon Health celebrated the opening of an onsite health center at Baldwin’s Kearney, Neb., facility with an open house.
The center, named “The Wellness Center: A Marathon to Good Health”, will offer acute care in addition to wellness care, disease management and health coaching. Employees of Baldwin Filters and their dependents are eligible to receive care at the center.
“Our decision to implement an onsite health solution reflects our desire to improve employee access to primary and preventive care, and to shift focus from sick care to preventive care,” said Bill Musick, Baldwin Vice President of Human Resources.
Center hours are designed to allow Baldwin employees from all shifts to utilize its services.
“It’s important that everyone feels that this health care option is convenient for them,” Musick said. “We hope to continue fostering a commitment to health on both a corporate and personal level.
Baldwin Filters, a CLARCOR company, produces over 6,000 lube, air, fuel, hydraulic, coolant and transmission filtration products for most applications, and can be purchased from distributors worldwide.
