TOPDON USA releases TC001 Max, latest dual lens thermal camera
TOPDON has announced the release of the TC001 Max dual lens thermal camera, designed to combine dual lens thermal and visible imaging for clearer, actionable images.
The TC001 Max connects to any Apple, Android, or Windows device and works with TopInfrared and TopView software for live viewing, analysis, report creation, and documentation. It uses a 256 by 192 infrared sensor and can enhance images up to 512 by 384 using Thermal Image Super Resolution (TISR). The visible light camera blends with the thermal imaging to show clearer edges, labels, and surroundings. The TC001 Max features a 25Hz refresh rate and <40mK NETD to offer fluid imaging and high thermal sensitivity that identifies small temperatures shifts quickly.
A word from TOPDON
“The TC001 Max takes imaging to a whole new level by overlaying a visual image with a heat signature, effectively taking the guesswork out of identifying what you’re looking at,” said Chad Schnitz, Vice President of TOPDON USA. “It’s an ideal tool with unlimited practical applications for auto repair, home and building inspections, and even wildlife tracking. When dealing with electrical issues, for example, the TC001 Max’s thermal imager can identify the heat signature of worn electrical wires, while the camera can help identify which wire needs to be repaired. The TC001 Max is a powerful tool for professionals, first responders, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a tool that can enhance safety, efficiency, and decision-making.”
“Weighing in at only 33 grams, the TC001 Max is a go-anywhere tool that can cut down diagnostic time, and even catch problems before they become expensive repairs,” said Schnitz. “Its universal and scalable application can easily go from the garage to a home inspection to a hunting expedition, anywhere temperature differences are critical. More importantly, its advanced technology is simple-to-use and available at a competitive price point.”
