ASE Hosting Free Automotive Diagnostics and Real-World Repair Strategies Webinar
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 4 p.m. ET titled "Innovative Automotive Diagnostics: Real Cars, Real Fixes."
The webinar provides technicians with practical, real-world strategies to diagnose modern vehicles faster and with more confidence. Garage Gurus' Josh Whiteman will present case studies featuring a Toyota RAV4 with ADAS warnings and a Chevy Equinox with severe drivability issues, demonstrating how to leverage overlooked scan-tool features and use diagnostic shortcuts to identify problems efficiently.
During the session, Whiteman will show technicians how to use Toyota's ROB history, interpret unusual DTC structures, and leverage simple PIDs such as the MAP sensor as powerful diagnostic tools. He will also demonstrate how in-cylinder pressure testing can quickly confirm exhaust restrictions and valve timing without requiring vehicle teardown.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for attending the live session, with automatic email delivery within one week following the event. A confirmation email containing webinar access information will be sent upon registration.
Those unsure about attending the live event are encouraged to register, as they will receive details on how to access a recorded session if available. Access to recorded sessions is reserved for those who register for the live event.
