Challenger Lifts releases latest inground lift, more options for EV lifting
Challenger Lifts has released a new inground lift, the EW10 10K Inground Lift. This lift has been engineered to meet the demands of modern service facilities and address the growing need for electric vehicle (EV) support. The EW10 is a compact, electric-hydraulic, cassette-style lift designed to help shops maximize service-bay space.
Featuring a 10,000-lb lifting capacity, the EW10 is available with three-stage front and rear arms for faster vehicle spotting in high-volume bays. Quick Cycle models further boost productivity, according to Challenger, rising in 27 seconds and lowering in 17 seconds.
EW10 incorporates 8-1/2" chrome pistons, a non-breathing ram-style cylinder, and enhacned bearing protection to minimize contamination and extend service life. A fully sealed recycled-polymer cassette tub prevents hydraulic fluid from entering the ground, supporting environmentally responsible operation.
A word from Challenger Lifts
“The EW10 Inground Lift gives service centers the versatility and speed they need as EV maintenance becomes more common,” said Trevor Coleman, national sales manager for Challenger Lifts. “It is built to help shops improve performance, efficiency and long-term reliability.”
“The EW10 is designed to help service centers stay prepared for evolving service needs,” said Coleman. “As EV adoption continues to rise, shops need flexible, reliable equipment capable of safely handling a wide array of vehicle platforms. The EW10 Inground Lift delivers exactly that, along with industry-leading speed, stability and longevity.”
