Virtual Training Summit gives access to training for 45 days

Registration is now open for the 2021 Virtual Training Summit, put on by the Endeavor Business Media Vehicle Repair Group. Beginning Jan. 20, the 45-day training and education event for technicians, shop owners and automotive industry stakeholders features more than 40 vehicle repair and management-related courses, as well as roundtable discussions and product demonstrations.

All courses are available 24 hours a day.

The event, backed by the Vehicle Repair Group brands of Motor Age and PTEN, features vehicle repair training focused on diagnostic steps, troubleshooting, ADAS and more from leading experts including Scott Brown of Diagnostic Network, G. Jerry Truglia of Technicians Service Training, Motor Age’s Pete Meier, George Lesniak with Autel, and DRiV’s Ryan Payne and Damian Rodriquez, who will conduct Spanish language classes.

For those seeking AMI credits, Keith Manich of Automotive Training Institute and Jeremy O'Neal of Advisorfix offer a wide selection of accredited management courses. Event partner the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) also will hold classes sharing key information for those seeking ASE certification.

  • “Key Programming Solutions – Your Next Service Opportunity,” presented by Automotive Video Innovations (AVI) and Carm Capriotto, founder and host of Remarkable Results Radio. Panelists include Donny Seyfer of NASTF; AVI Master Technician John Forro; Jefferey Brown of ILCO Automotive; and Ryan McGee of Advanced Diagnostics. They will discuss key points regarding cyber security and how it relates to key programming and immobilizer diagnostics.
  • “Challenges of COVID-19: Where Do We Go From Here?” Moderated by Krista McNamara of Motor Age, the discussion features panelists, John Anello of Auto Tech on Wheels; Brian Culotta, shop foreman with Dave’s Auto Care in Willoughby, Ohio; Brin Kline, owner of Assured Auto Works in Melbourne, Fla.; Chris Martino, Telephone Support Technical specialist, OPUS IVS; Chad Smith, VP and GM, North America, Aftermarket, BorgWarner Inc.; and Glenn Wade, Director of Sales, Transportation, Milwaukee Tools.
  • “Repair Technology and the Coming Challenges We Face” will be moderated by the Equipment and Tool Institute.
