(November 1, 2001)Injen Technology and AMSOIL Inc. have officially signed an agreement to cooperatively brand an all-new diesel air intake system called Diesel Power-Flow. Representatives from both companies announced Thursday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas that the Power-Flow system incorporates an all-new patent-pending Injen Variable Induction Technology and an AMSOIL dry media EA Nano-Fiber absolute efficiency air filter.

Variable induction (Vi) Technology provides an additional airflow and power on demand, based upon the engine's draw. There are four internal and independent valves designed to open and allow more air for crucial moments when extra power is required: passing, towing, climbing hills, or track and off-road racing.

AMSOIL Ea Nano-Fiber absolute efficiency custom desgined air filters block out the finer dirt and dust particles up to 99.53-percent efficiency. For diesel engines, the Ea filter removes five times more dust than traditional paper filter media and 50 times more dust than a wet gauze filter, according to AMSOIL. Injen dyno tests show the equivalent gains in horsepower and torque.

Stainless steel pre-filters deflect the larger dirt particles commonly associated with immediate loss of airflow and power.
