Ranger, a division of BendPak, introduced the DST30PX Professional Wheel Balancer, designed to handle larger OEM wheel assemblies, oversized off-road tires, and fleet tires. The balancer accommodates tire assemblies up to 43" in diameter and has a 145-lb capacity.

The DST30PX features a redesigned open-side hood to accommodate wider tires, aggressive offsets, and bulky sidewalls. Its reinforced chassis and hood assembly provide additional rigidity when handling heavier wheel assemblies, while a 40 mm shaft supports improved stiffness and measurement accuracy.

A 64-tooth magnetic transducer encoder helps improve wheel profile readings and top-dead-center positioning for more precise wheel weight placement. The system is designed to help technicians reduce vibration concerns when balancing performance wheels and larger tires.

The balancer operates at low RPM and has a six-second cycle time. Additional features include Dynamic, Static, and Performance Alloy balancing modes, automatic braking, self-calibration, manual or automatic hood-start operation, and a multi-user save function with presets. A full-tilt LED control panel, quick-release hub nut, top-dead-center weight indicator, and onboard storage are also included.

The DST30PX uses a 16-bit processor and multi-directional quartz piezoelectric sensors to detect imbalance across multiple force directions. It is ETL certified to applicable UL and CSA safety standards in the United States and Canada. The unit includes a starter kit of adhesive and clip-on steel wheel weights.
