IPA introduces their next generation Fuse Saver Kits
Innovative Products of America (IPA) introduced the 2nd Gen Fuse Saver Kits, Nos. 8005A and 8016A, diagnostic tools designed to help technicians locate short circuits and intermittent electrical faults. The system replaces standard fuses with color-coded, manually resettable thermal breakers rated from 5A to 30A. The breakers trip during overloads and can be reset after the fault is identified.
A 10' extension cable allows technicians to manipulate wiring harnesses throughout a vehicle while testing circuits for intermittent faults affecting components such as cooling fans, fuel pumps, and lighting. The breakers use standard automotive amperage color-coding to help prevent incorrect ratings.
The Standard Kit (No. 8005A) includes 5A, 10A, and 20A breakers, two multi-fit adapters compatible with ATC/ATO, Mini, MICRO2, and MCASE fuses, and a 10-ft. extension cable.
The Master Kit (No. 8016A) adds 15A and 30A breakers, eight specialized adapters covering 11 fuse styles, including JCASE, MAXI, PAL, ceramic, and European types, and a BuzzAlert module that provides audible short-circuit detection. Both kits are designed to simplify electrical troubleshooting while reducing repeated fuse replacement.
