Bob Cushing, WORLDPAC’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will serve as keynote for CAWA’s 2018 Gala Dinner Oct. 28, in Las Vegas. The event, to be held at Caesar’s Palace the Sunday before AAPEX/SEMA Industry Week, is exclusively sponsored by Motorcar Parts of America. All proceeds from the gala will be awarded to scholarships.
Cushing who joined WORLDPAC via the acquisition of Metrix Parts Warehouse in 1999, will discuss “The Changing Landscape of Our industry.” Prior to serving as President and CEO, Cushing served as Executive Vice President, Sales and Operations, for the U.S. and Canada from 1999 to 2007. He joined Advance Auto Parts in January 2014 via the acquisition of General Parts International, Inc., which included the wholly-owned subsidiary, WORLDPAC, Inc. He is responsible for the Enterprise professional organization, which includes Advance Auto Parts, CARQUEST, WORLDPAC and Autopart International.
