NORCROSS, Ga. – AkzoNobel announced that the company has placed the 2,000th unit of Colorscala Pro, a color tool launched in mid-2008 and the first of three new color matching advancements in a suite of Color Tools from AkzoNobel and was followed by MixitPro and Automatic III.

AkzoNobel says that Colorscala Pro is extensive in both color and variant range, is user-friendly and visualizes only the variants that are most likely to occur and represents a relevant color difference.

“The demand for these units is phenomenal. We truly can’t place them fast enough,” says Tom Star, color manager for Car Refinishes Americas. “Every facet of Colorscala Pro has been designed with the painter in mind. Larger separate sprayed cards that are organized by OEM, color, and make of car allow for a superbly process-centered, organized and efficient method for delivering a pre-accident color match.”
