BendPak introduces MaxJax MAX7 portable two-post lift at SEMA 2026

The new lift offers a 7,000-lb. capacity, increased lifting height, and an automatic swing arm restraint system for added safety.

BendPak introduced the new MaxJax MAX7 portable two-post lift at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Designed for professional repair shops and home garages, the MAX7 provides increased under-vehicle clearance, enhanced safety features, and a portable design that allows users to reclaim floor space when the lift is not in use.

The MAX7 offers a maximum lifting height of 50.25", approximately 3" higher than previous models, while maintaining a compact profile suitable for garages with low ceilings. With a 7,000-lb. rated lifting capacity, the lift accommodates a variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs. Its open design provides access to brakes, suspension components, exhaust systems, and other undercarriage areas for repair and maintenance.

"Garage space is premium real estate, whether you're running a busy shop or wrenching at home," said Sean Price, BendPak director of quality control and product development. "The MAX7 stands out for its versatility. It delivers commercial-grade lifting power for enthusiasts without permanently sacrificing parking space, while enabling professional shops to quickly increase service capacity during peak hours. The MaxJax MAX7 unlocks maximum utility without requiring a permanent footprint."

New safety features enhance lift operation

The MAX7 is the first MaxJax model to feature BendPak's patent-pending Automatic Swing Arm Restraint System (ASARS), designed to help prevent unintended swing arm movement during vehicle lifting, lowering, and service.

The system features a 360-degree locking interface that provides 10 times the holding force of traditional swing arm restraint mechanisms, according to BendPak. The lift also includes seven safety locking positions and an upgraded lock-release mechanism for easier operation.

Portable design maximizes shop space

The MAX7 combines the lifting capabilities of a traditional two-post lift with removable columns and a portable power unit. During operation, each column is bolted to floor anchors permanently recessed into the concrete, providing a stable foundation for lifting vehicles.

Once service is complete, technicians can unbolt the columns and roll them away, leaving the floor clear for parking or other shop activities. This configuration allows repair facilities to add lifting capacity without permanently dedicating floor space to the equipment.

Multiple packages accommodate different service needs

BendPak offers the MAX7 in four packages with different accessories and configurations:

  • Standard Package: Includes the MAX7 lift assembly, power unit with tow-cart, standard anchor bolt kit, round lift pads, and medium adapters.

  • Deluxe Package: Adds a rolling work seat and portable oil drain to the Standard Package.

  • Supreme Package: Includes everything in the Deluxe Package, along with frame cradle pads and tall adapters.

  • Ultimate Package: Includes the Supreme Package accessories but replaces the standard rolling work seat with the MaxJax Ergonomic Height-Adjustable Creeper Seat.

An optional Motorcycle and ATV Adapter Kit is also available to expand the lift's capabilities for powersports service.

SEMA 2026 attendees can see the MAX7 at BendPak's outdoor interactive display in the Silver Lot, booth #80043, or attend hands-on equipment demonstrations in the Upper South Hall, booth #36129, at the Las Vegas Convention Center through Nov. 6.
