Robinair introduces NG Premium ACS for efficient A/C service

The new A/C service platform features automated workflows, vehicle-specific information, and support for EVs and hybrids.

Robinair is introducing its new NG Premium ACS at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, at booth #24013. Designed to meet the changing needs of automotive repair shops, the A/C service platform combines automated workflows, vehicle-specific information, and technician-focused features to help streamline service, improve efficiency, and support increasingly complex vehicle systems.

Available in R-134a and R-1234yf versions, the NG Premium ACS is designed for A/C service across conventional, electric, and hybrid vehicles.

Guided workflows streamline A/C service

The NG Premium ACS features a redesigned 15.6" touchscreen that guides technicians through the A/C service process. Users can perform a fully automatic recovery, vacuum, and charge cycle or manually select individual steps based on service requirements.

Guided workflows, customizable service settings, and built-in self-diagnostic functions help reduce setup errors and promote consistent operation. The system also supports up to five user profiles, allowing technicians to save preferred vacuum and leak-test settings.

Automated features, including automatic internal tank refill, help minimize manual tasks throughout the service process. According to Robinair, the platform can complete A/C service up to 34 percent faster than previous equipment, saving up to 14 minutes per service. Vacuum performance down to 1,000 microns supports efficient evacuation and moisture removal.

Battery-powered digital pressure measurement allows technicians to perform vehicle intake and pressure testing without connecting the machine to an external power supply. This capability enables technicians to evaluate vehicles outside the service bay before beginning the A/C service process.

Status lights, audible alerts, and remote monitoring through a mobile application also allow technicians to track machine operation while performing other tasks.

Vehicle-specific data supports service accuracy

The NG Premium ACS can connect with Bosch vehicle communication technology to incorporate vehicle-specific information into the service process. OEM profiles and refrigerant and oil capacity data help technicians configure the system according to individual vehicle requirements, reducing the need to manually reference service information.

"Robinair has built its reputation around helping technicians complete A/C service with confidence," said Robert Dusina, director of product marketing, NA at Bosch Mobility Aftermarket. "The NG Premium ACS carries that focus forward by combining the proven fundamentals of Robinair equipment with automation, vehicle-specific data and connected support for increasingly complex vehicle systems."

The platform stores information from the last 75 services and allows technicians to save frequently serviced vehicles. Wireless service reporting and printing capabilities help document completed work for service verification and customer communication.

Connected capabilities simplify maintenance and support

Built-in self-testing functions evaluate machine operation and identify potential issues. Automated reports and on-machine service requests provide technicians with access to support, while remote diagnostic capabilities allow service experts to review machine information and assess problems before determining whether an on-site visit is necessary.

Wi-Fi connectivity supports software updates and access to release information. The system also features 360-degree internal access to simplify maintenance and servicing.

The NG Premium ACS supports both in-shop and mobile A/C service applications. Feature availability may vary depending on the market and product version.
