Mac Tools has launched a new red power tools lineup, expanding its cordless platform with impact wrenches, sealed head ratchets, an impact driver, hammer drill, and oil-resistant batteries.

The lineup is designed for professional automotive and trade applications where tools and batteries are regularly exposed to oil, grease, solvents, and other harsh shop conditions.

Leading the launch is the MCF961B/MCF961GH1 20V MAX 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench. The impact wrench delivers up to 1,900 ft-lbs of breakaway torque and 1,320 ft-lbs of maximum fastening torque. It offers three speed settings and a Precision Wrench mode designed to help prevent overtightening and fastener run-off.

The impact wrench also features an integrated LED and Mac Tools' BatteryGuard system, which uses a shock-absorbing battery-to-tool connection designed to help reduce wear on the battery during use.

For applications requiring a more compact tool, the MCF923B/MCF923GP1 20V MAX 3/8" Cordless Impact Wrench delivers up to 300 ft-lbs of fastening torque and 450 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. The impact wrench features four speed settings, Precision Wrench mode, a hog ring anvil for socket changes, and an oil-resistant housing.

Mac Tools also added two sealed head ratchets to the lineup. The MCF510B/MCF510GE1 20V Brushless 3/8" & 1/2" Sealed Head Ratchet features interchangeable anvils, a variable speed trigger, and trigger lock. It delivers up to 75 ft-lbs of maximum torque.

The MCF520B/MCF520GE1 20V MAX Brushless Cordless 1/4" & 3/8" Sealed Head Ratchet includes interchangeable 3/8" square drive, 1/4" square drive, and 1/4" low-profile hex anvils. Its compact sealed-head design is intended to provide access and control when working in confined areas.

Rounding out the new tools are the MCF850B/MCF850GP1 20V MAX 1/4" 3-Speed Impact Driver and MCD806B/MCD806GP1 20V MAX Brushless Cordless 1/2" Hammer Drill.

The impact driver measures under 4" and includes a variable three-speed trigger and built-in three-LED worklight. The hammer drill features an anti-rotation system designed to improve user control, a 1/2" metal ratcheting chuck, integrated LED, and up to 900W MWO.

Mac Tools is supporting the new lineup with a family of oil-resistant batteries. The MCBP520G 20V MAX 5.0Ah Lithium Ion Oil-Resistant Battery, MCBP034G 20V MAX 1.7Ah Lithium Ion Oil-Resistant Battery, and MCB205G 20V MAX 5.0Ah Lithium Ion Oil-Resistant Battery feature glass-filled nylon housings designed to resist damage from oil, grease, and solvents.

According to Mac Tools, select battery models also provide increased charge-cycle longevity and compact designs intended to improve maneuverability in tight spaces.
