Hendrickson acquires the U-bolt, pin and screw business segment from the Austrian Frauenthal Group.
The signing took place on May 30, 2018, and the final title transfer will take place in June 2018. The acquisition includes the manufacturing facility in Torun, Poland, along with 200 employees who will join Hendrickson Commercial Vehicle Systems Europe.
“This acquisition will widen our product portfolio and provide components that can complement our existing product lines," Hendrickson CEO Gary Gerstenslager said. "We look forward to working with our new colleagues and strengthening our business across Europe in the coming year.
Hendrickson, a Boler company, is a global manufacturer and supplier of medium and heavy duty mechanical, elastomeric and air suspensions; integrated and non-integrated axle and brakes systems; tire pressure control systems; auxiliary lift axles systems; parabolic and multi-leaf springs; stabilizers; and bumper and trim components to the global commercial transportation industry.
