Schumacher Electric upgrades 13 legacy automotive battery chargers
Schumacher Electric Corporation has announced upgrades to 13 of its automotive battery chargers.
The enhanced models FRO1576L, SC1281L, SC1282L, SC1305, SC1307, SC1308L, SC1320, SC1338L, SC1340, SC1340, SC1341L, SC1361L, SC1363L, and SC1564L now feature full lithium battery compatibility and a redesigned patent-pending clamp system. These updates are designed to deliver versatility, improved performance, and more dependable power across a range of automotive applications.
A key highlight of the upgrade is Schumacher's newly engineered clamp design, built specifically for modern engine compartments where battery terminals are often difficult to access. The clamps provide maximum reach and a secure grip, allowing users to connect quickly and confidently in tight spaces.
Additionally, the upgraded chargers support battery chemistries, including traditional lead-acid and lithium iron phosphate batteries. Advanced microprocessor-controlled charging automatically detects the battery type and delivers a precise charge, simplifying maintenance and eliminating the need for multiple chargers.
