GripEdge releases RPT Long Ball Star Bit Socket Set
GripEdge Tools announced the launch of the 9-pc RPT 1/4" & 3/8" Drive Long Ball Star Bit Socket, No. BST9LS, designed for professionals who work in confined, hard-to-reach areas.
The BST9LS introduces a second-generation Ball Star geometry that allows up to 15.5 degrees of pivot. This gives users the ability to engage fasteners at an angle when straight-on access isn't possible. At its core is GripEdge's patented Rounding Prevention Technology (RPT), engineered to maximize contact with the fastener and reduce the risk of rounding. Compared to standard tools, RPT delivers up to 50 percent more grip on undamaged fasteners.
Each bit in the set is precision-machined from high strength S2 tool steel, featuring a slimmed-down profile designed to maximize access in confined areas without compromising durability. At 6" in overall length, each socket is suited for reaching recessedor obstructed star fasteners. Large, stamped size markings with black ink fill ensure easy identification.
