EnerSys shows off latest ODYSSEY battery solutions at SEMA
EnerSys will be at SEMA 2025 showcasing their ODYSSEY battery solutions for specialty vehicles, located in booth #24313. Among the products being spotlighting include the ODYSSEY batteries and chargers, as well as the ODYSSEY Connect battery monitoring system.
The ODYSSEY batteries are engineered with a military-inspired design to provide extreme resistance against high-impact shock and mechanical vibration. The batteries feature proprietary Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology to provide ample cranking, even at low Depth of Discharge (DOD). They deliver twice and power and three times the life of conventional lead acide batteries and can tolerate extreme temperatures with an operating range of -40 degrees F to 14- degrees F.
ODYSSEY chargers are lightweight, portable, and can efficiently charge ODYSSEY batteries as well as a variety of today's brands of 12V AGM, flooded lead acid batteries, and 12V lithium batteris, according to EnerSys.
The ODYSSEY Connect battery monitoring system captures and records battery State of Charge (SOC) and State of Health (SOH) by monitoring voltage and temperature status through cranking and other events.
Throughout the show week, EnerSys will also host several internationally recognized motorsports icons. Following is the list of scheduled appearances in the booth at the 2025 SEMA Show, at which time attendees will have the opportunity for photo ops and “meet-and-greets” with their favorite stars:
- Wednesday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.: Scott McLaughlin, driver of the No. 3 Team Penske Dallara Chevrolet in the NTT INDYCAR Series
- 2:000 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Rutledge Wood, car enthusiast, NASCAR analyst for NBC Sports and host of the Netflix hit series, "The Floor is Lava"
Additionaly, on display in EnerSys's booth will be a custom-built 2019 Pontiac Trans Am Chevrolet muscle car from John Wargo at The Custom Shop. With an all-black exterior paint scheme, with red accents and bird sketched on the hood, the Pontiac Trans Am is equipped with the latest parts and electronic devices including an ODYSSEY battery.
