Streamlight announced the launch of the ProTac HP-X series of tactical flashlights, comprising the ProTac HP-X and the ProTac HP-X USB.

The ProTac HP-X includes two CR123A lithium batteries for users who require disposable power sources, provides up to 24 hours of runtime, and weighs 5.4 oz with the batteries. The ProTac HP-X USB uses a Streamlight SL-B26-protected Li-ion USB rechargeable battery pack with an integrated USB-C charge port and weighs 5.9 oz with the battery. The USB version can provide up to 31 hours of run time and recharges in five hours.

Both lights offer 800 lm, 105,000 candela, and a beam distance of 648m. The HP-X series features a multi-function tactical tail cap switch for momentary or constant-on operation and TEN-TAP programming that allows users to select between high/strobe/low, high only, or low/medium/high. The lights are built from 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with a Type II MIL-Spec anodized finish, have impact resistance up to 2m, and an IP68 rating for dust-tight and waterproof operation up to 2m. Both come with Streamlight's limited lifetime warranty.
