Sheri Hamilton, executive director of Midwest Auto Care Alliance (MWACA) and the ACA and the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo Conference manager, has been awarded the Golden Wrench Award.
The award was presented during the VISION Hi-Tech Training & Expo. According to officials, the Golden Wrench Award, presented by Advanced Digital Automotive Group (ADAG), honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the automotive industry through innovation, leadership and dedication.
“Sheri Hamilton has been a driving force in uniting and advancing the automotive aftermarket industry,” says Paul Donahue, CEO of ADAG, who presented the award.
“From expanding the ASA Midwest affiliate in the 1990s to elevating VISION into a nationally recognized training event, her leadership and dedication have strengthened businesses, fostered connections, and propelled the industry forward.”
Hamilton’s influence extends beyond VISION. Her efforts have been widely recognized through numerous industry awards, including the Ratchet+Wrench 2014 All-Star Award Recipient, and named the 2007 Most Influential Women in the Industry by Akzo Nobel.
“I am deeply honored to receive this award, but this recognition is not just about me—it’s about the incredible team I am surrounded by,” says Hamilton.
“A team that consists of professionals, businesses, and organizations that work together to advance our industry every day. The automotive aftermarket is a community built on passion and dedication, and I am proud to be part of it.”
