Ranger releases new shelving line

Aug. 21, 2023
Ranger Design's composite aluminum shelving is designed to be provide the same load capacity their other steel shelves with a 33 percent reduction in weight.

Ranger Design has released a line of composite aluminum van shelving. The shelving line includes 14 products, all made from an advanced composite material that is 33 percent lighter than steel, but with the same load capacity.

Tested against harsh chemicals, the shelves are both chemical and water-resistant. The aluminum alloy end panels are coated with an anti-smudge and anti-abrasion finish, eliminating the need for PVC film.

With both high-impact strength and low-density properties, the composite material provides significant weight savings over steel or wood. A honey-comb inner core lends structural integrity while also improving noise mitigation.
