Women in Trucking adds Editor-in-Chief Erica Schueller to 2018 Top Women in Transportation to Watch list.

Fleet Maintenance Editor-in-Chief Erica Schueller was listed by Women in Trucking Association (WIT) as one of the 2018 Top Women in Transportation to Watch.

Nominees were selected by the editorial staff of WIT's Redefining the Road magazine, and were chosen based on their accomplishments in their careers and lives.

Schueller has reported on the transportation industry for more than 10 years in various positions at SouthComm Business Media. For the past three-and-a-half years Schueller was editor of Fleet Maintenance magazine's sister publications Professional Tools and Equipment News and Professional Distributor magazines. In October 2017, Schueller transitioned to Editor-in-Chief of Fleet Maintenance magazine. Notably, she is the first female to hold this position.

Within the first year of taking lead of the magazine, Schueller was awarded for editorial excellence for her feature, "How to conduct a technician skills competition" by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). The article, which first appeared as Fleet Maintenance's December 2017 cover story, was given a National award as well as a first place Regional Gold award in the ASBPE's Azbee Awards of Excellence, one of most competitive awards competitions for business publications.
