After years of lackluster sales, GM has discontinued the Chevrolet City Express commercial van, which was the company's first push into the small-van segment.
Automotive News reported that production of the last 2018 City Express vans at Nissan's assembly plant in Mexico ended in February. Finals orders for the van were taken September 2017.
Since it's unveiling in 2014, less than 30,000 vehicles were sold. In comparison, the Ford Transit Connect averaged 42,500 annually since 2013, according to the Automotive News report.
The van, which was rebranded under a partnership with Nissan, is still being produced as the Nissan NV200.
