Automakers' recent attempts to provide fuel efficiency in a small wagon -- such as Ford's C-Max, Toyota's Prius V and Volkswagen's diesel Jetta Sportswagen -- have raised the question of whether these vehicles' fuel savings really justify the higher price, according to a recent article in The Wall Street Journal.
