Once corrective actions or maintenance has taken place, the reset functions help get the vehicle back on road quickly.

Origin

The Platinum S20 evolved from Thinkcar's THINKTOOL series. Combining the latest Android 10 operating system with a 2.0GHz quad-core processor provides outstanding performance, says the company.

Manufacturing/engineering specifications

The S20 is designed for maximum durability in extreme conditions. The 13.3” high-resolution touch screen is recessed slightly within the casing providing greater impact protection. The durable exterior case is constructed of a magnesium alloy and corners are reinforced with rubberized padding. The built-in backrest holds the tool at an angle on a flat surface or attaches to the vehicle steering wheel. An integrated handle in the case makes carrying the tool easier and more secure.

Storage and display

The Platinum S20 is stored in a composite case containing the various connection cables including OBD-II connectors for popular heavy duty vehicles and the most common OBD-I connectors. The four-channel oscilloscope is stored within a separate carry case for easy transport.

Demonstration

Thinkcar offers interactive demonstrations on a live vehicle by remote interface or in-person via a local distributor.
