    The Lift Support Clamp with Magnet, No. 44880, from Lisle Corporation is designed to hold gas-charged lift supports up to 9/16" that can be found on hoods, tailgates, hatchbacks, and trunks. The neodymium magnet holds the tool in place while securing the clamp, which holds weak lift supports in the extended position. This allows access to the engine compartment or rear luggage area. The clamp's aluminum body and brass threads prevent damage to the lift support shaft.
