Plews & Edelmann, a leading manufacturer of power steering components, announced a significant expansion of its hard parts portfolio with the release of exclusive parts and a new product line: Electric Power Steering Torque Sensors. The January releases include 55 new parts, 19 of which are exclusive SKUs unavailable from other aftermarket sources.

The introduction of EPS Torque Sensors represents a major milestone in the company's commitment to providing sustainable, cost-effective EPS repair solutions. These sensors join Plews & Edelmann's groundbreaking EPS Belt Replacement Kits, providing technicians with critical components needed to repair electric racks rather than opting for expensive and difficult-to-find full-unit replacements.

"Our goal is to stay ahead of the market by identifying the gaps that leave technicians without options," said Anthony Holguin, director of category management at Plews & Edelmann. "By adding Torque Sensors to our EPS lineup and releasing exclusive hard parts for traditional hydraulic systems, we are giving our professional technicians the ability to service vehicles that previously required a trip to the dealer."

The new EPS Torque Sensors address a common failure point in modern steering systems. Instead of replacing an entire electric rack and pinion assembly—a costly and labor-intensive process—technicians can now utilize Edelmann sensors to perform a targeted, high-quality repair. The addition complements the existing line of high-performance EPS belts and tools.

The January release includes 19 exclusive Rack and Pinion assemblies, Pumps, and Gears focusing on late-model applications and high-failure units where aftermarket availability has historically been non-existent. The newly released products provide coverage for over 30 million vehicles in operation.

"Professional technicians depend on having the right parts available to keep their bays moving," said Tony Edwards, vice president of sales. "By delivering solutions they can't find anywhere else, we are reinforcing our commitment to their success."

The full line of new products is available immediately through Plews & Edelmann distributors nationwide.
